A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful evening of crafts & good times with a group of Toronto creatives for a new (seriously awesome) event called #TOCraftNight ♥
These nights have been created and are taught by the amazing Lynzie from Love By Lynzie who is not only talented, but such a spunky & fun gal to be around. These nights were designed for Toronto creatives to have fun, meet new people, network and of course create an amazing craft while doing so.
I got to meet some wonderful and talented ladies during our craft night, some of which I've been following on social media for a while now! I think the thing I love most about social media is being able to meet and connect with people who have the same drive, passion and outlook on life as you!
During our #TOCraftNight, we made macrame plant holders (see photo above for an example) and they turned out SO good. Everyone had a different vision for theirs, and used their favourite colours and beads to make it their own. We listened to the most epic pop diva playlist, ate treats, drank wine, laughed and made new friends. Lynzie was such a good (and patient) teacher to us all, and although my first one was let's face it....subpar, I totally redeemed myself with my second one!
Lynzie has a whole series of craft nights coming up, such as weaved wall hangings (nov 9th & 16th) and holiday wreath decorating (dec 1st)
The night was hosted by the sweetest babe, BECKY from blush & bloom // her studio is magical, and I snapped a few photo's of it to share with you. Becky is going to be doing the flowers for our wedding and I could not be more excited!
Très inspirant !
