I hope everyone is have an amazing weekend so far! It's been an awesome one for me so far. This post is actually extra perfect for today since I woke up with a bit of a hangover today (after celebrating pride last night until 3am with my besties!)

Since Canada Day is right around the corner, I really wanted to share a delicious cocktail recipe for you guys to make up at the cottage or by the pool, or when you wake up feeling rough after celebrating! I first learned about Casamigos back in November when I had the pleasure of meeting with Rande Gerber at a private blogger event and learning all about the tequila that him, George Clooney and Mike Meldman created. We’ve been drinking our tequila with friends and family for over five years now. It was never intended to be released to the public. BLOODY MARIA

2 Parts Casamigos Reposado Tequila
1 1/2 Parts Homemade Bloody Mix
Fresh Lime Juice

Combine all ingredients with ice. Garnish with Jerky, Pepperoncini, Olive, & Celery.

Cinco De Mayo with Casamigos Tequila!

So even though I am hanging out in Ireland this year for one of my fave days "Cinco De Mayo" I wanted to share these amazingly delicious recipes for you because they will change your life!

A while back I had the pleasure of going to a private tasting event for Casamigos Tequila, and that is the night the two of us fell in love! If you think you don't like tequila then think again!

These 2 recipes will have you head over heals for Casamigos! I am excited for rock these babies all Summer long. Check out the recipe below! Easy Peasy. & Happy Cinco De Mayo! I personally like any reason to celebrate and be a hostess! ;

STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITA
1 1/2 Parts Casamigos Reposado Tequila
3 to 4 Strawberries
2 to 3 Sweet Basil Leaves
3/4 Part Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 Part Simple Syrup
Balsamic Vinegar
Combine all ingredients with ice. Shake, strain and serve over new ice in a rocks glass. Top with club soda, garnish with basil sprig and dash of balsamic. 

WATERMELON MARGARITA
1 1⁄2 Parts Casamigos Blanco Tequila
1 Part Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 Part Orange Liqueur
6-8 Chunks Watermelon
1/4 Part Agave Nectar
Muddle watermelon, add rest of ingredients with ice, shake and pour into a rocks glass. Garnish with slice of watermelon.
