This Can Be Beautiful

// Ok, so it seems like I blinked and we're more than half way through October. It's been almost two weeks since my last blog post (sorry!) and it's been an insane couple of weeks for sure.

So, I've gotta gush over this book because it was written by one of my favourite humans of ALL TIME! If you don't know who Tiffany Pratt is yet - it's time you got to know her. I've been following along on Tiff's crafty adventures for a few years now and have had the pleasure to get to know her IRL. What I love about Tiff is that she as beautiful, creative, positive, exciting and inspiring in real life as she is on her Instagram, on TV and in her book!

She's got a zest for life like no one I've ever met and what she creates is beyond incredible. Her world is filled with colour, patterns and GLITTER (can you tell why we get along so well!?) 

Basically what I am trying to say is, Tiffany Pratt is my spirit animal.

She inspires me to follow my dreams, to make, to create, and to live a life of colour and love. Tiffany just came out with her first ever book and it is literally a dream come true. It's filled with the most magical DIY's, and beautiful colours, confetti and you guessed it -- GLITTER! Tiff proves that everyone can be crafty and creative and that you don't need to be Martha Stewart to make beautiful things. 

The book is filled with crafts to try at home like tie dye sheets, salt bath, hair powder, body scrub, streamers, candy heart studs, donut hole necklaces and so much more!

I wouldn't say I hate Monday's, but I have never necessarily loved them. Recently I've decided the change my view on the poor day that gets so much negativity from everyone. If any day of the week gets bullied, it's definitely Monday. So, here I am with my new found love for the day! Care to join the Monday movement with me?

Yesterday was a beautiful Sunny day in Toronto. I headed to the post office to pick up a parcel that had arrived for me, and then headed to Kensington Market. As soon as I got home, I put on some Etta James and opened the most perfect, sparkly package of all time.

You may of read a blog post I did a few months ago about my Girl Crush/Life Hero Tiffany Pratt and having the opportunity to meet her at an event in November. Well, in February Tiff lead an awesome DIY event for Forever 21, and we got to meet again, and well if I do say so myself - become besties a little bit (hehehe!) Tiff is one of the most beautiful, creative, dynamic people I've ever met and I am legit honoured to now be able to call her my friend. If I am ever feeling bummed or in need of some inspiration, I can alwayyyyys get it from her. Everything she touches turns to gold (or should I say, turns to glitter!)

Take a peak at this amazing sparkle explosion she sent me! It made my day (week)! and was a perfect way to start my week on the right foot. And, yes she has her own custom hot pink sharpies! Check out Tiffany if you want some to add some happiness in to your day (trust me, you do)

Girl Crush/Life Hero : Tiffany Pratt

Happy Monday! Oh, so it's here again. I am looking forward to this week and started today feeling like I am going to make this an amazing week!

Tonight I wanted to do a little blog post about Tiffany Pratt. I first saw some of Tiffany's stuff online a few years ago and then in 2014 officially fell in love with what this human being is capable of. What is so cool about the internet, is you can find someone who you feel shares so many interests as you, does and creates beautiful things, and inspires people along the way. People like this make the world a little brighter and most definitely more colourful and sparkly (obviously) And to top it all off, she is from my favourite city in the world, Toronto ♥

Last week I got to attend an event where Tiffany lead a craft at Mendocino. When I found out this was happening, I knew it would be something I absolutely adore since I feel like Tiffany and I are alike in so many ways! The event was just absolutely lovely and I have to say, Tiffany was just as beautiful, sweet and magical as I have always imagined! She was so kind, vibrant and full of life, and she's become even more of an inspiration!

If you want some inspiration, something to brighten your day or be a positive influence, take some time to get to know Tiffany! I just spent some time on her website, and I am just in awe of all she does. I want to paint the world with sparkles right now.
